Rutin is a water soluble plant pigments, bioflavanoid. It is found in the grain buckwheat.

What it does

Rutin has anti-inflammatory, anti-histamine and antioxidant actions. It is able to strengthen capilleries and other connective tissue keeping them flexible so that blood can flow freely. It is a protective nutrient for the heart, eyes and blood vessels in general.

Generally, there are no side effects or contra-indications from using Rutin.

At the time of writing there were no well known negative drug interactions with Rutin.
